WISE Cloud Service Trial Application Guide

1. Trial Service Application

Thank you for your interest in the WISE product series. We offer comprehensive cloud service trial programs to support your Proof of Concept (PoC) and application development. Before submitting your application, please carefully review the following plan descriptions, system requirements, and trial policies.

2. Overview of Available Trial Plans (Trial Plans)

We provide a variety of trial plans with a standard trial period of 30 days. Please select the plan that best fits your application scenario (each application is limited to one plan only).

3. Local Deployment and System Requirements (System Requirements)

If your selected plan involves local deployment, please ensure that your environment meets the following minimum hardware requirements to ensure a smooth trial experience:

    • Specifications: 4 Core CPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB+ Disk

4. Application and Activation Process (Application Procedure)

  • Submit Application: Please complete the trial application form on the Marketplace.
  • Internal Review: Your request will be evaluated by a Product Manager (PM) or Business Development Manager (BDM) for suitability. (Currently, trial activation is available to enterprise users only.)
  • Environment Provisioning: After approval, system engineers will complete the environment setup within 3 business days and send a notification.
  • Start Using the Service: You will receive a Trial Guide email. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder or contact your assigned Business Development Manager.

5. Trial Policy and Important Notes

  • Non-Production Environment: Trial environments are for functional evaluation and PoC development only. They must not be used as production environments and cannot be directly converted into official production environments.

  • Data Retention and Deletion (SaaS Services Only)

    • This data retention and deletion policy applies only to services provided in SaaS mode.
    • Users are responsible for backing up and managing their own configurations and data during the trial period.
    • Upon expiration of the trial period, data will be retained for 7 days.
    • After the 7-day retention period, all configurations and data under the organization (tenant) will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
    • This disclaimer does not apply to services deployed in local or on-premises environments, for which users are solely responsible for data management, retention, and deletion.
  • Trial Period and Extension

    • The default trial period is 30 days. Extensions are subject to approval, with a maximum extension up to 90 days.
    • The system will send a reminder notification 7 days before trial expiration.
  • Permission Limitations: Trial accounts have limited permissions and can only access specific services and a single organization (tenant). User management is limited to a maximum of 5 user accounts.

  • Resource Sharing: Trial environments operate in a shared-resource mode. Advantech reserves the right to perform system maintenance, updates, and adjustments as necessary.

6. Technical Support and Learning Resources (Support & Resources)

During the trial period, we provide multiple channels to help you resolve technical issues and learn about product features:

    If you encounter technical issues that cannot be resolved independently, please seek assistance through the following channels:

    • Ticket Portal: Once you have subscribed to the production environment or activated the service license in your on-premises environment, different levels of technical support service can be purchased to obtain faster development and support responses
